Extron Electronics' MTP 4T 15HD RS mini twisted pair transmitter offers four independent transmitters for RGBHV and bi-directional RS-232 within a single rack-mountable enclosure. The one-rack-wide transmitter sends combined video and serial communication signals over a single UTP cable and supports cable runs up over 600 feet for XGA signals and over 450 feet for UXGA signals. Accepting up to four high-resolution computer-video inputs with just one power outlet, it requires less equipment and reduces installation time, says the company.

Kramer Electronics introduces the VP-26, a presentation switcher for both audio and video. Four independent routing switchers and master audio switcher allow it to pass computer graphic video, S-Video, Component, Composite, or SDI signals at high bandwidth. It includes three independent 4x2 AV matrix switchers and one independent 2x2 AV matrix switcher, and it comes in a two-rack enclosure. The master audio switcher routes preselected audio input from one of the matrix switchers to two separate outputs.
